The Crescent Corporate Finance Team provides a straight forward, practical approach to selling Companies. We fully recognise you may have established, trusted relationships already in place, consequently we are happy to provide this as a separate service supporting your accountant/advisor.

At Crescent we are able to provide a unique, market assessment of your business to determine the level of interest by prospective purchasers looking for opportunities similar to your own where you decide which parts of our service are most appropriate to your requirements.

Initially, we offer a free meeting to discuss your thoughts, aspirations and objectives. At this meeting, based on our wide experience of selling companies, we can discuss and provide a view on valuation and will answer your questions in relation to the sales process.

During this meeting our unique sales process is fully explained and is summarised into 3 clear steps as outlined (below); This is important so that we can understand your business in more detail and from which we will provide a clear and concise proposal for you, with no hidden costs. You determine the level of support and advice you require with a commensurate, transparent fee agreed.

At the end of Phase 1, during which we will Test Market your business, you will be in the best position to determine all your options and whether to expand the process as you will already have had the clear benefit and opportunity to access the level of potential interest we have generated to date.

The Management Team have collectively advised Companies on all aspects of selling Companies encompassing virtually all industry sectors. We can project manage all responses and provide you with a list of appropriately qualified potential acquirers, fully vetted, and enabling you to determine whether or not you wish to proceed.

Phase 1:

Test market Your Business - £4,000 (plus VAT) plus 1% of consideration

  • We will prepare and send a blind profile of your business to over 30,000 intermediaries including accountants, Private Equity houses, bankers, etc as well as a review of over 5,000 acquisition criteria actively seeking business opportunities right now.

Phase 2:

Prepare Appropriate documentation - £1,500 (plus VAT)

  • Produce an Information memorandum and suitable “teaser” documentation

Phase 3:

Project Manage the Sales Process - £4,000 plus 2% of the consideration

  • Having initially qualified prospective purchasers, we will manage the whole process to completion. This will include;

    • Sending NDA’s to potential buyers
    • Dealing with further information requests
    • Progressing  interest to formal offers
    • Negotiating offers to identify preferred bidders
    • Coordinating all advisors involved in the process
